Our commitment
The Prélude bookshop respects the confidentiality of your personal information. Your data is neither sold, rented, nor transferred to third parties, except where required by law or where necessary to fulfil your order (delivery service, accounting and banking providers).

We collect your data (surname, first name, postal address, email address, telephone number, payment information) in order to:
- fulfil your order and arrange its delivery;
- issue an invoice and comply with our accounting and tax obligations;
- keep you informed about the status of your order;
- send you our newsletter, with your prior consent.
Legal bases for processing
- performance of the sales contract (order, delivery, invoicing);
- consent (newsletter, non-essential cookies);
- compliance with our legal obligations (accounting and tax retention).
Retention period
Order-related data is retained for the duration of the customer relationship, then archived for the legally required retention period for accounting documents under Hungarian law, namely 8 years. Newsletter data is retained until you unsubscribe.
Recipients
Your data is shared only with the providers necessary to fulfil your order: delivery service (GLS Csomag-Logisztikai Kft.), banking provider, accounting firm. No transfer outside the European Union takes place.

In accordance with European Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and Hungarian Act CXII of 2011 (Infotv.), you have the following rights:

- right to rectification;
- right to erasure;
- right to restriction of processing;
